Local Sporting Champions Grant
Local Sporting Champions grants help kids and their families who might not be able to meet the costs of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing at a national or international level.
Grants of between $500 to $700 are available to applicants competing in an upcoming competition.

Stronger Communities Grant Programme
The Stronger Communities Programme funds small capital projects that improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant viable communities.
The total funding for the project from the Commonwealth cannot exceed 50 per cent of the total eligible project expenditure.

Grants of up to $500,000 are available to upgrade sporting infrastructure at clubs across Australia to improve their facilities and increase participation in community sport.

About Tangney
The electorate is now one of the fastest growing electorates in WA with almost 100,000 residents coming from virtually every nation in the world.
Located just south of the Perth CBD, Tangney contains within it most of the City of Melville, a part of the City of Canning and a small portion of the City of Cockburn.
